This. I agree with all of it. I learned self doubt as a child, to carry others’ secrets, to doubt my own intuition, to go to church, listen to the doctor, be respectable in society….and honestly, it left me a shadow of the person I should have been. A lot of that conditioning carried through for years. It took me a long time to figure it out, but, so happy I did.

VEry interesting post, which lot of insights.

I totally agree that education will create to lose your internal voice. And Parents want your happyness and are trying to doing well, but they are god, and you want to please god :D

It is interesting your approach, and I think there are many ways to work on it.

And I agree that self esteem is very important.

On my side, I let my inner voice speak since less than 10 years. Because, I didnt think I was valuable, and the others were more important than me.

I worked on my own value, and I understand also that I was different, and finally what I thought, my intuition were the most often relevant.

My therapy journey helped me a lot, and also to discover I was different (I am HQI, and I didnt know...)
